Water Safety Resources

Welcome to our Water Safety Resource Section.  It was very important for me to talk with a few different swim instructors and water safety advocates in order to get an overall view of what the commonalities are regarding drowning prevention.  We interviewed an instructor from the American Red Cross and instructors from an infant swimming resource also known as ISR.  In addition, I started conversations with family members of survivors who have lost children to drowning in order to get a clearer picture of what actions we can all take to save kids' lives.  My son took ISR classes with Mrs. Jennifer Sandberg and we can personally attest to the benefit, which is invaluable to having our child learn to float and ultimately to swim.  I am truly thankful to have learned and to share the information from these interviews with you and I encourage you to share with people you know.  Together we can make a difference.
